Body Kits & Other Exterior Mods

We are limited in this area do to the longer front end than the I4. The kits for the 5th gen are split between 94-95 and 96-97 because of the rear bumper. being diferent. This diference is due to the tail lights and trunk being diferent. however the front and sides are consistant throughout the 5th gen models. However, the I4 front is shorter than the V6. There are some direct fit options for the V6 though. Be warned, some places only list 96-97 for front bumper/lip when dealing with the V6. This is because the factory lip was diferent on the 96-97. However, all 96-97 lips will still work on the 95. It is actually more of an over sight. As far as what front bumpers are available, to the best of my knowledge, our only 3 options are the following.....

Ninja/invader kit.....

wings west type-w kit... www.wingswest.com

sarona kit... www.sarona.com

Also keep in mind that most body shops can extend the sides of the I4 front bumper and make it fit the V6. This should cost about $200 to have done by most body shops. So I4 front bumpers are still an option with some modification.

Also we hav OEM style carbon Fiber hoods availble from super high technologies and can be found at andys auto sports.... www.andysautosport.com

We realy dont have any options for fenders that I am aware of, due to the extended front end. You could always have the modified as well I presume, or you could get vents and such added to stock fenders. Also universal or custom fender flares could be added by your local body shop. custom wide body is also an option though not cheap. However, any grill, wing, lights, ect. that you find for the I4 can also be used for the V6.

Basically keep in mind that the only things diferent between the V6 and I4 exterior is the fenders, the front bumper, and the hood. Beyond that, you can just purchase the parts for the I4. now that you have read all my ramblings, go mod your car

Thats for th I4 im sure. but you could have it modified. Cut it at the very back extend it with fiberglass. Then paint the sides of it fading to black to cover the fiberglass. Thats real nice though.

I found a company in Cali than can make us ANY BODY kit we want to fit our cars http://www.bodykits.org/v2/index.asp It has to be a group buy of 10 or more of the same kit pre-paid at $675 per kit + frieght

I thought the same thing
But this is a way we can a kit made to fit our car other than the two or three currently available to us. And this dont only apply to us either, this applies to every generation on this board.

NP All this means if enough people could agree on ONE kit (must be an order of 10 or more) then we could have another body kit for our cars and this would also mean that the company would run a production on the kit that would benifit all 5th genners accross the country. They will make any kit currently available for other cars to fit ours OR... we can actually design our own kit that has never been seen befor and would be exclusive to V6P.net, they would produce it for us and V6P.net could market it under our own name. This would apply to all the generations. V6P.net could have its own exclusive body kit for each generation Accord as well as kits for all the other vehicles on this board i.e., Toyota, Nissan, etc.

Just something for V6P.net to think about!

might be a knock off either way that is a 4cyl. C-west does make one for the I4. If you like it just have the body shop extend it.

It's carbon fiber, you can't just 'extend' it without f-ing up the weave
just double checking. so i can extend the CF lip with fiberglass?

no. most likely that is for the I4. the one from andys is a super high technology (this is the name of the company, not some new amazing hood technology) hood.
