wanna know a secret I have to keeping my engine always lookin clean.

I use "Son of a Gun" tire cleaner. Its in a yellow can. I just spray it on everything black inside of the engine bay. Of course its best to do this after you wash your car so you can use some on your tires too. I only do this like once a month. I always get compliments on how clean my engine bay is for a 97.

*note*
-you can do this if your engine is warm but it works better on a cool engine.
- Of course make sure all plugs are plugged in. (especially spark plug wires)

When I bought my car from Honda, they had used brake fluid to shine the engine up. The engine looked perfectly clean for months afterwards. I was really surprised when they told me what they had used but nothing seems to stick to brake fluid covered parts and if something does, it wipes right off. I worried about rubber parts cracking but its been 3 years now and no cracking whatsoever.

maybe something better

i went to autozone the other day after class and i was looking for that son of a gun stuff and i found it, i asked one of the employees about it collecting dust like armor all and he to me hell no. he said to stay away from armor all and then recommended using meguiars for an even better solution. will i dont know about other people on the board but if you feel the need to spend a little more on the engine bay to make it shine then go with the meguiars.

Looks really good from what I can see. Tell us how it rides once you've had some time with them on. Choppy? Smooth? I'm always looking to improve the looks of my car but not at the expense of a crappy ride.

Why is your car smoking??

Is that SEAFOAM?

Does Anyone Know where our VACUUM Line is . Is it on the black peice on the opposite side of the oil cap? I used seafoam a couple of days ago. half in my gas tank and half with the oil. I didnt know where the Vacuum line was. So I didnt put anything in there. But I plan on putting some in next oil change.

u can basically use ANY hose that "suck" in air...thats why they call it "vacuum" hehe ... if ur not sure then unplug 1 of the hose turn on the engine, put ur finger over it to see if u can feel any suction ....if u pour it in ur oil ... i wouldnt recommend revving the engine

i covered up my alternator, air filter, distributor cap, fuse box, battery and the ballasts for my hids. make sure you dont go crazy with the spray, be gentle. a good degreaser will help
