its such a rip off it seems. 400+ for my 60k to do the same thing jiffy lube does. that's if they find nothing wrong with anything else.

Maintenance Additions

Minimum every 2 years flush the brake system with new brake fluid.
My AV6 has Speed Bleeders so it's real easy to do it yearly. It takes about 1 hr using a 1/2 litre of hi temp DOT 3 to do a complete flush.

30K miles change the ATF with Honda Z1 fluid.

100K miles change the timing belt, 60K for severe service.

100K miles flush the power steering system with Honda fluid.
My addition. Its cheaper than a new steering rack.

Every 2 yrs replace the cabin air filter.

The manual says just the plugs at 105,000 miles for V6 models. Not sure why this list in the thread doesn't mention it . I suggest doing it a bit sooner (around 80,000 miles) since it's inexpensive to do and that they’re probably showing signs of wear by that time.

If I'm not mistaken, turn off the car, turn the ignition to accessory with the trip counter reset button held in for about ten seconds, that should clear it. Or you can dig your manual out of the glove box and let us know how to really do it

You could do what I do, and do it all yourself. That way you don't have to pay for labor, and the parts are less than half price!

I always assume that since I do all of my own maintenance and upgrades, everyone else does too. I guess that's not the case.

I am not 100% sure but i think that Honda only switched to 100K spark plugs in 2000. I know that my 2000 4 cyl said 100K between sparks but the 99 we had said 36K. I noticed that above someone with a 2002 said every 105/80K for plugs but i am not so sure on the older cars.

If someone with a 98-99 manual could check for the 6cyls.

I guess, keep doing your regular oil changes and inspect the entire car (keep up with fluids, etc).

Ditto. I mis-read the thing and had my timing belt replaced at 60k...am I good till 160K? I drive in L.A. and it's tons of stop-n-go, so maybe better safe than sorry...I should replace again at 120k?

I also don't know about the water pump...when does that get replaced?

The water pump has no "official" replacement time.. however it is a pain in the butt to get to but easy to do once you have everything out to do the timing belt so most dealers and garages will recommend you replace both at the same time. most garages will cut you a deal on labor for the water pump since the labor for the pump will already be 80% done by getting to the timing belt.
