What plug is this?

Anyone know if this is an oil passage or coolant?

Sweet, thanks! Would this be a possible location for forced induction oil return? Or just stick to tapping the pan?

Tap the pan, then add a nut on the inside, if you can I would weld a AN10 bung on.

Weird, I wonder why they put a tapped plug there instead of a freeze plug? Thanks for the info though.

Cool, thanks. That's what I'll do...probly just tap it and use a nut. My welding skills are poor at best especially when it comes to aluminum.
