Where? How much? Have they worked on AV6's before?
Ok, don't laugh, they are in Lancaster ca. I know what you are thinking a bunch of hick tweakers... I actually grew up there until I was old enough to move out! Ugghh.... Anyhow I used to go to the same gym as this guy and we had common friends. The throttle body I beleive was around 250.00. I can hook you up with a number if you want to call them?

I feel so weird now that you all know my terrible secret. Please don't hold it against me.

All the engine items you mentioned above are available from other members of the J series engine, and OPAK is supposedly working on equal length headers for the J engine as well.
Well, kinda. You can get the bigger bore and stroke compared to the 3.0 stock from honda, but Im talking really big bore and strokes. I want a 4.3L v6!
As for the heads, do we know for certain the heads have different port volumes? Cause if thats true, I need to know!
As far as I know, there are NO aftermaket cams made and no intake manifolds. Again, yes there is stock honda stuff that can be mixed and matched to get 300+hp out of stocl, but I want MORE

Quote:

It sounds like you want Honda's J series engine to gain the aftermarket support comparable to a small block Chevrolet in a hurry.
AND YOU KNOW THIS, MAN!!!

I'm not like them anyway. What ever Alien wreckage crashed there has not affected me negativley. I am serious, I am convinced there is something in the ground there making people crazy and retarded.

Are you guys serious? I love the seats in our accords. Well, the fabric ones at least. Im not a fan of leather. I think they are super comfortable! Just the right blend of soft and firm. And I dont have any extra padding on my body. 5' 10" and 135lbs dosent leave much to go around

well i think the cloth seats arent comfortable at all, the seats in my corvette i could fall asleep in, ive always hated my seats, i just want more in the looks area, i mean we have tonz of body kits etc. but sometimes it just looks like there is always something missing on the looks on the accord...but i still love it...but no matter what we dont have produced for our cars, i would still take a accord over the civic anyday

maybe we should step to the GT guys at the SEMA show, and tell them about why they should push the release date back to include our tranny swaps and upgrade along with the S/Cs.
lol.

Alright, now that we basically have exhausted all good ideas for performance mods for our cars, i have a question. Does anyone honestly believe we can drum up enough support to get these mods made or will we just sit around dreaming? I know some of you guys actually do get us support, but all of us as a community need to start hitting up major manufacturers so we can get some bad ass parts.

Anyone know if ARP makes bolts and studs and all that jazz for the AV6?

I would absolutely love to see a functional ram air hood for us.

MMMMMM!!!! RAM AIR!!!

eh, i dunno why i think its cool, it just is

I would love to see veilside put out a body kit for us. I absolutely love their designs on other cars and they have one for the accord wagon but not for our beauty. Veilside stuff is so agressive looking compared to other manufacturers.

I would love to just see even a 5 spd manual for us. Or a 5 spd auto, hehe, anything to make our off the line times better.

Possibly some different wings besides OEM but ones that actually look good with our cars, not ricey as all hell.

The bottom line is that we need more support from different companies. Our selection is so limited, the few companies that put stuff out can charge whatever they want since they are the only ones in the market.

My friend got long tube headers for his SS Camaro with jet hot coating and shipping for $575 .

I seriously can't believe that comptech has the audacity to charge a grand for the same damned thing. Really, a grand is insanity for 6 friggen tubes when you can get 8 for 600. Thats just plain stupid.

We need the support from manufacturers. Until we have that, we might as well be dreaming about having a 1000whp accord that gets 200mpg and is more exotic looking than the McLaren F1 and can out handle an indy car.

I seriously wish there were more meets besides the entire damned country away from me!!! Wheres the love for memphis??? oh wait, all we have is $200 cadilacs riding on 24" spinnas.

veilside would be kool if they made one for us, but i would say its doubtful, and there are other options besides comptech headers, we have the stone headers for 400

Yeah, i love veilside!!!

why the hell did they make one for that ugly ass accord wagon??

yeah, but i was just using comptech as the example, i mean, do you not agree our stuff is more expensive than stuff for other cars?

well on some parts it is, but there is a reason for that, because our car doesnt sell as many parts as civics and tegs so they mark it up, now if our cars were as popular as civics....then they would be cheaper
