yeah more CF stuff would be kool, we really dont need more hoods, there are quite a few on the market, but engine covers would be nice, and i know some people want a CF trunk, i wouldnt but i know the coupes do, i like my inner taillights..lol but if we could get some like je pistons, some cams, (that arent from a type s) and just some N/A power

Pistons would be nice, JE will custom make them but they will also charge you double.

yeah i know comptech had some kind of package, but i remember it was like 5g's, i just want a way to build up the engine in pieces if possible, like buy a new head, cams, pistons, rods and all that good stuff, since i dont have the big time $$$ to spend 3500 bucks for a S/C, just so i could build it up with a littler budget, i know thats alot to ask for but hey its not supposed to be real, i mean hell ya if we could get a straight bolt up 6spd that would be dope, but if i ever got that itchy, i would just buy a 7th gen or rsx type s.......N/A power! is that alot to ask for? ahhah lol

True, Ive seen comptech's engines. Although they are a badass company thier products are expensive. If you build the engine yourself you can save on labor, other than that... pistons were about 1000.00 last I checked, rods, gapless rings, ported polished, would all be cool. If you build it your self you can just pull it apart when you need. Otherwise it could get to be just as expensive.

Pistons are one area we need to work on with the J series v6's. A set of forged pistons with the pin height moved to take a 93mm stroke [a 3.2 stroker outa a 3.0 block] costs $150 A PIECE from crower

Exactly almost a grand. Just save for 10 months then most of us can afford it hehe or just buy them one by one. With the trans problems besides being an AT, I am suprised anyone is willing to make any extreme performance parts.

We need sleeves too..

See, but just like you said earlier... if we had that kind of money then we would all be driving NSX's.. unless you super loved this car (like me).

ok yeah thats true, but if i won it right now, what would be the harm of losing it? i would just add to my collection (04 viper ) and some other cars, but i would most likely keep this and do as much as i could, i would also buy back my very first car a 87 legend, and rebuild the whole car, but yeah if i was rich from the start, i wouldnt have this car

I'm not going to tell you that there is a transmission that last forever, but I'm a Lexus Tech and regularly see 200,000+ mile GS's, LS's, & SC's with the majority of their original major components ... {i.e. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION). We actually have one customer with an 90-92 LS with well over 300,000 miles on it with the original drivetrain and it still performs flawlessly. Out of the six years I've been there I've only seen ONE LS transmission replaced, and that was a brand new car.

As for stuff made for our cars ...
I see quite a bit want more performance items, but I can not recall seeing someone mention an adjustable piggy back computer for timing control. If you're going to start raising compression ratios and playing with different cams then having some control of the timing would be helpful.

so many wonderful ideas, i agree with everyone, we deffinately are getting left out here, aftermarket companies just skipped right over us when it comes to all the #@%% we really want and need. maybe they will open their eyes someday and start coming out with the products we want to see for our cars.

Like at my local dealer they got a pic of a 4th gen accord with a pic of the odo showing 350,000 miles, i asked if its still around and he said yeah, the same owner since new, but he eventually had to replace the engine, but everything else still works.
Im thinking about keeping my AV6 as long as i can to see how long it will drive.

1) Tein makes a Control Master TYPE FLEX kit for us.
2) Comptech making their parts a bit cheaper.
3) a machine that causes all non altezza cars with altezzas to explode....dam ricers....
