Personally didn't notice any major difference w/ the mounts. Guess having a lifetime warranty is it's only perk

How can you tell if your mounts are broken? What are the symptoms?

Engine movements...

Innovative mounts don't have transmission mounts for our cars!

Will the PU harden throughout even in thick layer? Yesterday I filled my passenger and the bigger tranny mounts completely (image in garage as I can;t post images yet) and when I press them in fingers it feels like the surface hardened to about 1/4" deep, but the inside is still viscous.

What a great DIY. The innovative mounts are expensive.

Any trick to unbolt the rear mount top nut? Iīm unable to apply sufficient torque and keep the socket extension stable at the same time when bowed over the engine, all I did after almost destroying my hands was to rotate the whole mount a bit, the nut didīnt move slightest bit on the thread.

breaker bar. with long bar to slide onto the breaker bar to get some ooomf should do the trick.

Does anybody know at innovative mounts you have to buy both the acura cl type-s mounts and the 02 accord v6 mounts can can you custom the order to buy the front and passenger side mount for the v6 and the transmission and rear mount for the acura cl mount.

Have to buy them in a set I believe but the r the same other than the rear mount and they don't make a/m tranny mounts. With the j32a2 swap even with diy mounts I snapped en all

So which mounts do i have to buy from them?
Do the also make the front mount and passenger side mount?
I have seen they have the cl type-s m/t mounts. They also have the accord v6 a/t mount but what i was wondering if the v6 mount kit comes with the front and passenger side mount as well or is that a custom order?

I talked to one of the customer representatives and he said the mount kit comes with the front rear and passenger side mount. Not the driver side tranny mount. He said whatever the picture has is what the kit looks like. Kinda being a dik like he had to rush somewhere else. Does anybody know if anybody makes polyurethane driver tranny mounts?

The passenger side looks very workable, so I am not worried about that. But the front and the rear looks challenging. Do you work on these from the top or underneath? I'd imagine you need lots of extension if working from the top.

The rear mount doesn't look reachable withouth removing a few other parts. If working from underneath, there looks to be a subframe to deal with. I might have to let a pro do the rear.

The tranny mounts...I can't locate them from the top, are they only visible from underneath?

Sorry, lots of noob questions.

The tranny mounts are down below.

Work on the others from the top. Dont forget to support the engine.

The tranny mounts looks very weak to me. I can pull and compress a new tranny mount easily. If you are doing this, do to your tranny mounts first.

if you are doing a j32 swap and it came with an auto, the rear brackets are different than the j32 that came with the manual and are different than the j30.

if you have innovative mounts already on your j30 and want to use it with a j32 6 speed swap . you can use the rear engine mount bracket from the j30 and bolt it on to the j32 and still be using the back , front and passenger mount .

just helping out anyone if they didnt know.

Was running on 4 mounts since one of the tranny mounts was completely disconnected from the rubber. The car was slow to takeoff. Installed the improved mount this afternoon (didn't put as much poly as the OP), everything is fine now.
