yes, best bet is to get a truck size cooler to be extra extra safe.

Just call honda directly they will help you with transmission replacement cost they took 900.00 off my ticket still sucks tho. I was at 115.000 miles second transmission.

second owner of a 2002 v6 coupe. car has 103k ive put 2k on it and im scheduled for a tranny flush next week. check engine light keeps coming on for bad solenoids, anything honda can do for me? sorry i didnt read the entire thread yet

I didn't read the entire thread either......but is a flush something people recommend for this transmission? I've always heard otherwise, that draining it thoroughly is best. Either drain the pan a few times, driving a little in between, or drain directly from a hose while adding fluid at the same time (the way I do it.)

I remember this way back. My dad had a 99 TL and remember all the hoopla. The trans were bad in odys up until the last model year of the snd gen RL1 Odyssey
