05 accord coupe 6mt

Hello all. I just bought a jdm hybrid engine with out knowing it. Now I'm stuck with the engine in my car on the hoist and don't know what to do about the vcm. My original engine doesn't have vcm. Can a blocking plate be made for the side of the head where the solenoid is supposed to bolt to?

Probably won't work and the transmission won't bolt up.

The trans bolted up with no probs. it's in the car now actually. Everything bolted up except the solonoid on the side of the head that the new engine didn't come with. So it's in my friends shop on the hoist and can't start engine because of what it's missing or else oil will squirt out the side of the head

No idea, what is the engine code you are putting in? J3#a#? Could you swap the heads?

It's a j30a. I may be able to swap the heads. I just bought the engine though and I'm thinking that if I have the vcm block on the side of the head not plugged in with the vcm disabled will the engine run properly. I mean, my cars Ecm doesn't recognize vcm anyway so it would be just there and along for the ride right. Which I'm totally fine with. I just want my car to run. Don't care about having vcm. Would rather not have it

Jdm j30a. It has no 4 or 5 or any digits after. That's the thing about jdm engines. The codes aren't the same as ours
