I know this thread has been dead for a while but is it still possible to get a set of these brackets for my front brakes ? If so where and how much is the bracket?

No, I got tired of the complaints about the cost rising as my cost of materials also rose up. Also go really tired of people receiving the brackets then trying to rip me off thru Pay Pal, and with Pay Pals buyer centric rules making it very difficult and time consuming to get paid.

I have a cnc facility nearby and a colleague in mechanical to take care of the model, if you wanted to hand off the model.

I have been trying to find out the piston area of the 7/8/9 gen Accord floating calipers to compare with the Acura RL Advics.

Can the OEM brake master cylinder keep up with the Advics?

Are there any issues with a soft brake pedal upgrading to the Advic Calipers?

Is there any chance this will firm up the brake pedal feel???

Thanks for your feedback!!!

yes it can

not sure what soft brake pedal you talking about

dont think it will firm up brake feel

i been running them for years with stainless steel lines on all 4 corners. after upgrade your bottle neck is your tire size. even 245 tires run out of grip with this brakes

Are there any other people who have clearance issues using the 12.8" 350z brembo rotors? It seems like some people have this issue while others don't. For those who are using the 12.8" rotors, what brackets are you using?

I've had that issue before. Some rotors have a different rotor hat height. I used powerstop slotted rotors for a year or 2 before I had rubbing issues. Had to use autozone rotors the rotor hat was in more

If I would have machined the inside of the rotor where the hub mounts alittle I wouldn't have had to swap rotors. But didn't want to weaken the rotor

So you didn't have clearance issues when the powerstop rotors were new? You didn't have any problems with the autozone rotors? I've trying to find 12.8" rotors with a thickness of 28mm but they don't seem to exist.

What brackets are you using and do you have the exact part # of the autozone rotors? I can't post any links but there's a person over at HT where the front of his rotor made contact with the caliper itself and they were using brackets made by fastbrakes

Rotora BBK rotors comparison

Hey guys, I've quoted and listed the replacement rotor parts for Rotora but, part #s seems to be different everywhere I've looked. Can somebody chime in the differences between these rotors or is it different due to it being slotted/drilled. All rotors listed below are 1-piece rotors. Thanks a bunch.

[QUOTE=ikethegreat]

Here are links to the rotors I used (which I've had for 2+ years and have been great):

As long as they are 12.8" rotors that fit the '05 350z with Brembos, you are good to go. I wouldn't worry too much about matching the serial numbers exactly. A lot of those serial numbers you posted are from years ago and could very likely have changed by now.
