Sorry no, the lack or DBW/CAN support, the cam/crank sensors are very different. Just not feasable for you guys, look at the AEM series2 standalone. I already have this running on a CLS MT other than the stock water temp gauge (which is still a work in process).

Keit, are you already working on selling a conversion harness for the 7th gen/3rd gen TL? If so I will stop my efforts.

Don't stop Paul! We need you!

What's it looking like? We may be able to use our ECU and a conversion harness with the FlashPro? Or would we need to purchase the 07-08 ECU as well? I'm assuming the latter.

It would be the 07-08 MT ECU+ Conversion Harness + Flashpro + Imoobilizer programming.

First I need to re-re-convert back to MT, probably sometime mid Jan, got work backed up I need to get out including my own 03 Pilot which hit 220K miles, need to re-rebuild the tranny while it is out, replace all front end parts (bearings/ball joints, ect) and drop in the replacemnt J36 engine in place of the stock J35 before the boss (AKA the wife) removes my man sack.....

Sounds like Santa won't be the only one toting around a man sack in the Smalser household this year, LOL.

Def purchasing ecu soon as possible, we all know how oem parts inflate once the demand rises...tls cams are good example of that ...
The 07 and 08 mt ecu has different part #s, if I'm not mistaken one comes with immobilizer and 1 doesn't..don't quote me on that just check parts for urself peeps. The 08 is cheaper, but has immobilizer as a part. The 07 is more expensive with immobilizer not listed..price wise they come out to the same

Just a FYI, I used an 07 TLS ecu. I used a Honda handheld to program my immobilizer. Before I converted into a race car, everything worked perfectly with the 07 ecu. All gauge cluster objects, etc. you have to and a few CAN bus wires in order to beable to use the DLC port which is needed for FlashPro.

No. This is store bought, no group buys. Also this will not work on your car without modification. If you are like me and cannot do the wiring needed to get this done your just out of luck until/if they come out with something for us.

Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to a harness from Paul

I thought you needed it to run the J35a8. Even better They should use your car as an all motor test! Get your ass over there!!

I offered them my car two years ago, but they wanted a stock TLS at the time cause they didn't want to deal with the custom wiring job I had to do. My car will be on FlashPro very soon. One of my friends in the industry helped make it happen. You'll be seeing j series swaps in things you thought never would fit very soon..

If you had a fast or modded car (not always the same thing based on Civics I've seen....), that never goes away when you get older. You just get a more mature car and make that faster.

So Paul, I'm assuming us AT guys don't have a chance in this conversion harness for flashpro huh? If so then it looks like I'm going to have to find a excuse to replace my motor/tranny setup, if you know what I mean.

I hear you< the nice thing is that the mount positions on the subframe look like they are the same on the 07, so a 07 powertrain and mounts should work just fine.

The mounts are the same. I have an 04' TL subframe with a TL-S powertrain. If you don't mind a little extra work, then swap in the TL subframe as well since it's aluminum. It will shave 24 lbs off the car. All the mounting points are the same between the 7th gen Accord and 3rd gen TL.

You DO NOT want the aluminum sub frame, I have been switching people over to the AV6 steel one after they bend them hitting a curb or it even seems after 100K + miles. The aluminum frames bend if you sneeze at them.

That's great info! How many have you seen fail, as in bend/throw off the front-end alignment?
