I just dropped an 05 TL trans in my 07 av6 and the Limited slip is awesome. The front wheels grab much better under WOT and I'm n/a. I can only imagine how much more it would help you with being supercharged.

During normal driving I can notice the limited slip helping from time to time. Going around corners I can feel the inside tire grabbing more and pulling the car. Before it felt like only the outside would pull. I still haven't been in a wet situation to see how it will act but I'm sure it will help tremendously.

Trust me, LSD with just my 270wtq makes a huge difference especially on wet of snowy roads. True 2 wheel drive all the time non of that one wheel slipping and the other doesnt know what to do with itself crap.

I am running 235/40/18 NT01 right now. I don't daily drive, but the wear says 10-12K miles. So I am sure you get 1/2 that. If you are building a performance car and not DD than these are a must. Basically any R compound will be great so don't over think it. I used to have NT05, but the NT01 is twice as aggressive.

LSD will obviously help for performance...But its time and money for little gain in my opinion. FWD and launching is fail anyways. If I down shift at 35 mph with solid motor mounts, LSD, R compounds, and every other stability bar you can buy I can leave tread for 40 feet before it grabs again.

Freeway flier!!!

Has anybody toyed with a higher stall converter considering this thread has mostly posts about people using balls to the wall builds?

My buddies Supra that we built has a 3800, and I hate it. Feels like you are towing a trailer around on DD. Yes it is awesome at the track, but I would never do it. He hates it too.

Just low torque feel. Engine really has to be turning for it to transfer the power. This could be a dual issue since he has a precision 72 turbo so its lag on top of high stall.

That hood scoop is fantastic. Coulda gone much smaller, but at least it hides it!
Sad ya sold it, but it was a good experience to test that out on a car. Would love to see it on a j32 or 35 build, working on getting a m112 layout done that could drop it closer to the hood, and allow for the much more OOMPH m112 in there for j35 and above.
