It was HFP I was seeking; but as you have already alluded to, there is no help there. They said they could "hook me up" (sigh) with an areo kit. Oh yeah baby! Watch out EVOs and STI's, here comes my aero kit!

Hey Sean, Good job with getting the ball rolling and finally going through with it! Sorry I couldn't help you more with the tuning part of it, Hondata told me there shouldn't be a problem, but I guess they were wrong! Im glad you are getting all this support, you are going to be a legend...The gauge panel shipped out today, so you should see it by Wednesday, I already emailed you the tracking number...but just remeber the guy behind the scenes who made this all possible from the beginning...
Everyone, lets take a moment to remember the banned member who spent the last year and a half prepping for this build...only to be stopped short at the one yard line!

6 Speed Demon (who is banned from V6P) You are remembered...

Peace out!!!

And one more thing, the comptech Flywheel kit,

Lightweight Flywheel with Clutch Disc (03 CL-S 6spd)
$1,369.00

is able to be fitted to the 7th gen accord, just unbolt the 14 crank trigger sensors from it, and it works perfectly. There is a company selling stage 1-6 clutches for the 6 speed, but I cant find them online now.

Call Comptech if you want more boost, they do have a smaller drive pulley for the kit that will increase boost to 10-11.5lbs on the J30A4.

PM me what shop you went... also, you might need to look for LSD now that you posses all that power, of course you don't need to have it now, but will be wise to put that on your perspectives. btw, what will happen to the company that made the radiator? will they be producing more?

Be careful with the Comptech flywheel kit people have had nothing but bad luck with those kits especially when used in conjunction with the UR pulleys, just check out acurazine.com and you'll see what I'm talking about.

The pressure plate is what needs to be worked on, not so much the clutch.

No point in boosting that high on the Eaton EP62 supercharger since its no longer efficient at those levels of boost., im pretty sure that the max is 10.5lbs or maybe just 10 but either way you'll need an intercooler

Good luck with your project, i'll be stuck on this thread like white on rice

yeah I've heard there are numerous troubles when combining the flywheel kit with the UR pulley as well. Most people seem to swap back to the stock pulley... either way, this is one giant step for the 7th genners

Yeah i would recomend that you keep the stock pulley and Comptech flywheel, but the aluminum flywheel just isn't as reliable as the stock piece.

You lose about 8lbs off the crank with the pulleys but around 18lbs with the flywheel/ stock clutch kit. Apparently 26lbs is too much

Plus you get rid of that dual mass safety feature that disengages the other half of the flywheel effectively making it free spin when it detects too much torque being transmitted too fast, or something along those lines.

Oh hell yeah! This will be sweeeet
I guess Honda gave us no other choice but to do this on our own. You watch, once our man does this, Honda (or Aftermarket) is going to totally band-wagon off it. "The first supercharger kit for the 7gen Accord, brought to you only by [insert aftermarket manufacture name here]".

First piece of advice is to confirm the jumper settings on the e-manage or you could pop fuses. It's not a major problem but can be a hassle. Good luck with the Boomslang they make nice harnesses.

Hey 04accordcpe, just wondering if you totally don't care about your manufacture's warranty, or is the urge to throw that thing under your hood too great?
The Honda rep I talked to said that the main reason they (after market I assume) aren't putting out anything like this SC'er is because people wouldn't be willing to give up their warranties. So, I would love to tell that rep where you stand on that point.

every single guy who throws an aftermarket supercharger on their ride loses their warranty on the ride when it comes to engine stuff.

Its just a risk people are willing to take, thats what car modding is all about... hoping the car holds up to your mods. And after you begin to alter your vehicle, expect to spend a higher amount of time maintaining it to keep it running that good. With more power, comes greater responsibility.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck 04!
