V6P should make that radiator as their own so we can expand our Accord market. Since Comptech wont step up V6P should since all we need is the radiator.

Could you imagine that, V6p 7th gen Radiator for Comptech S/C?!

Now everyone that hated comptech for not making the 7th gen a supercharger prove to them that you really were interested and buy one or else they were right for initally not devolping one.

Has anyone emailed this thread to comptech?

You welcome for the radiator...and thank you for finishing what I was unable to finish!

How did everything go with the TL parts? I wasnt sure if the air box and battery tray would fit, but accoring to my measurement it all would...but obviously I never got there...

i got a feeling you're the maker of this radiator, hats off to you my friend! and to Sean for having the balls to do this

Comptech had nothing to do with the custom fabbing of this SC from what I know. He just bought the blower unit for the TL and had to get a custom fabbed radiator. Without the custom made radiator which cost him $500 alone, it wouldn't have worked. you guys need to contact the fabber of the radiator and have him patent his radiator design and then sell it to comptech

Yeah we know Comptech had nothing to do with it, that's the whole point.

By the way if we could compare prices between the SC and turbo, that would be great.

Instead of getting a custom one made, why not just buy a stock on from a 04+ TL at a junkyard or dealer? Bet it would be cheaper. Just a thought if the radiator really is the key, which seems to be.

L

BTW, congrats!

This is awesome. I'm sure that a supercharger package (supercharger, radiator, etc) can be put together and be fairly successful.

Great job!

Until he gets this thing tuned, racing would be a very stupid idea. That's all we need, 1st SC'ed 7th gen with a blown motor. I'm not worried though, cause if our man has gotten this far, he must have a clue of what he is doing

sorry guys had a really busy weekend with the kids. just to update you, the car is running really good, but im experiencing the same surging problem the TL guys are having with the ACM... it only happens at partial throttle between 2-4k rpms.. im playing it safe and driving the car really carefully until i get it tuned with the emanage tomarrow, which cant come any sooner! its been really hard controling myself not to WOT lol. if i still have time after the tuning, im going to the place i got my baseline, and see what we come up with.

in regards to the radiator, the design was ok, but some of the mounts for the fans and stuff were off line and some things had to be tweaked here and there...i spoke to griffen about the radiator and they said they would get back to me, but he never called... i'll come up with a $$ total on the project when everything is done.

wow just stumbled on this thread again.....

the speed at which you finished this project is the most amazing part. I knew eventually someday someone would be able to make it fit. But never in the short time you done it in. Hats off to you, and congrads on having one of the baddest 7th gens thus far.

They did asked me to do a SC instead of Turbo, after the 3.5L swap was done. But I only wanted a turbo, so I said no.
