I'm having some problem with my car. The engine won't start. It won't even crank. When I turn my key, all I hear is "click." Electricity is on though (dashboard, GPS, etc.). Tow guy came and tried jump-starting the battery. It didn't work. Then he got a hammer, started tapping the starter (solenoid?), and told me to try starting the engine again. It worked.

What's wrong with my car?

Thanks for the fast response.

I did some research and some people said they replaced the main relay for around $100 and it fixed the problem. I'm trying to avoid replacing the starter if possible because it'll cost me around $400+ : (

What do you think?

Ok, thanks. So the Honda dealership and my mechanic found out that the problem was the starter. Do you recommend getting a new starter from Honda dealership ($550 with labor) or remanufactured ($400 with labor)?

I just had to replace the starter on my accord as well, get the advance auto parts one. It's $80-$100 and you can pay any mechanic in your area to install for probably around $50-$100 it has a lifetime warrenty as well, you can't beat it.

Guys quick question, can 6th gen av6 stock struts fit on our 7th gen v6? Speaking only for the fronts. My front left driver side went out on me and someone is offering me 6th gen v6 struts. Thanks.

Edit: Saw this thread

6th gen Accord struts on 7th gen Accords

So is MorePower4me stating that in order for the 6th gen struts to fit on the 7th gen accord you have to swap out the 6th gen top hats with the 7th gen top hats and the 6th gen shock and strut with the 7th gen top had will work fine?

I'm almost positive they do. Alex had put his set of Tein's from his 7th gen into his temporary 6th gen while the 7th was getting fixed. I think the difference is in the rear along with the tophats being different.

I posted just before you edited then jumped to another forum. But yes, that's exactly what it is. Swap top hats and call it good. Obviously, swap both fronts so they're even.

What are the fitment issues with a 03-05 sedan front lip on an 03 coupe. Saw a hfp style p/u sedan front lip brand new $90 shipped and wondered.

Does anyone know if there is a seller for a 05 Honda Accord Coupe trunk lip? I've seen them on a few cars locally, but cannot find any retailers on them... and what do you guys think about a Sunroof visor for a 7th gen?

Akebono, I have them. Love them.
Did a bunch of research. Great stopping power with the least amount of brake dust. I'm sure many will agree.
Just buy some Centric Blanks for DD.
I did and I drive like a Filipino

Ok so I got the front seats out real easily, they are held on by 4 bolts. How do I sepeqrate the seats from the brackets? I got some aftermarket seats and ill be attempting to use the stock brackets for those new seats

I don't think factory brackets will bolt up to aftermarket seats. You have to get brackets from the seat manufacturer made to fit in the accord.

Idk about that, it seems like they can be made to fit on anything. I would primarily like to remove the stock seats from the brackets, as they are designed to fit in the car so well already and go with the contours of the floors. I have no problem welding these seats rails onto the stock brackets or doing intense fabrication... I will make it work I'm just seeing if anyone has done it
