Are the inspire headlights easy to install? Do you need a different bumper? and how's the wiring situation? I looked for the thread on installation but had trouble finding it so sorry if this has been covered before.

if wiring the motors, i'd say that's the hardest part...

i completely forgot about making the new updated wire harness with available part numbers from honda from a US part distributor.... lol..

Hey everyone,

I've been trying to figure out the wiring for these things for awhile. I'm pretty sure I went through every thread out there but I still have one question. Where exactly do you wire the city lights? I thought I read somewhere that you have to wire them in a "Y" connection or something, but I cant seem to find that thread anymore. Can someone please clarify where exactly the city light is supposed to be wired since the USDM headlights never had a city light.

Have you read this thread (post #21)? Metalball's Inspire Modulo Gen7 Build Might be helpful, he retrofitted the harness.

That would have been good if I had the JDM harness but unfortunatley I don't. I have all the sockets and was planning and fabricating my own harness.

Thanks alot for going out of your way though, I really do appreciate it.

Can someone please confirm the lighting sequence of the inspire headlights below?
Please take into consideration I spliced wires awhile back to get DRL's.

1. Switch car on - DRL's light up.
2. Turn headlight switch once - DRLS and City lights are on.
3. Turn headlight switch once more - DRLS turn off. Low beams are on - City lights are on or off?
4. Use turn signal - Turn signal bulb flashes.

If the above is correct wouldnt a blue city light interfere with the white d2s? Im asking because I noticed in the photo I quoted from Arielit0oo, it looks like both the white low beam and blue city light are illuminated.

Yes, these lights are direct bolt on for 03-07 Accords. Probably nothing special to you out there in Russia if you seem them out there all the time, but here in the states, they are almost non existent. I have yet to see a pair in person.

Might be better off hitting up Albin Salinas on Facebook, he can do proper retrofits that throw a ton of light and keep a sharp cut line. Plug and play.

If he's so great why didn't he adjust the headlight angle before taking some pics?

If you're talking about me, that is in a parking garage that is at an angle. Zero glare with my retrofits. Massive beam pattern.

I got them through Albin Salinas on Facebook. He should be easy to find. It's a part time thing for him but he seems to typically have a couple built up and ready to ship. It was plug and play.
