2008 Accord Coupe dropped 2 inches

I have the Eibach pro-kit installed. I wasnt happy with the drop or how long it would be until something better would be available so I said screw it and cut a dead coil out all the way around. Yes the ride is a little rougher, but not horrible. I dont do a lot of driving so Im not concerned about it. Yes I know alot of people's opinons on cutting springs is negative, but hey its my car and its not that bad of a ride honestly. As soon as either a nice affordable spring/strut combo or coil/over combo comes out I will be one of the first to have them installed. Here is a shot of my car dropped over 2 inches.

It's really not that bad of a ride. I have had lowered civics that drive worst. Wheels dont rub or hit the wheel well either. The car takes speed bumps and ramps like a champ also. Its at the perfect height ride now. If I could just get some nice tokico struts in there it would be a great ride. I also took it to a a high end chassis shop and had them make manual camber adjustments to the sub frame (no camber issues). They also aligned the car perfect for my staggered setup. No issues, I did everything the best that I could, to achieve the look I wanted with what I had available to work with on the market now. I wish I could afford to spend the $5000 +/- that Schu spent on his proto-type coil over setup from koni. Maybe one day when the price comes down to normal.

lol guys, he only cut one coil off the springs. Stop acting like the car's going to explode or something. I know plenty of people with all types of cars who cut one coil off their springs for that little bit extra drop and, as long as you don't mind a SLIGHTLY harsher ride, it's all good.

Great looking car man, the stance is perfect now. BTW I see you're in Florida too. Ever go to the Towershoppes car show in Davie?

I have been lowered for 2 years and have not had issues with axles. Plus I take it to the race track occasionally too.
