Seems like there are more Sedan owners... so whats yours? :D

BTW, sedan owners, mad props for keeping 4 door really clean and nice. I think Accord 4door owners got nicest taste out of many other brand 4 door owners. :)

I own a coupe. I never even considered a sedan. 1) I don't have a family and don't haul crap with my car, so I didn't need the extra doors. 2) I think the coupes look a LOT better.

Sedan owner here. There are a lot more sedans on the road than coupes, but most of the enthusiasts own coupes. I think the coupe will win this poll because of that.

Actually, you sedan owners are just old or don't use the internet. There would be three more votes for sedans from my family, but my mom, dad, and brother can really care less.

Coupe, COS I only need 2 doors, I need the room (6'2") I don't have a family and I don't need to load it with groceries.... hahaha! You can f#ck in a 2 door better thatn 4 cos you have more room to put the pass seat back. 2 doors are in fact slightly shorter and weigh less.

IMO...the 7thGen Coupe compels me to regurgitate...(makes me wanna vomit)...the 7thGen Sedan is decent, but the designers at Honda should spend the next 4-5 years walking around with bags over their heads for even thinking that the 7thGen Coupe was attractive...

the 6thGen Coupe (as pictured below) is by far the sexiest Accord that Honda has or will ever create.

Yes, I totally agree. For the 6th Gen Accords, the Sedans have the better-looking rear end. A coupe needs a spoiler to compliment it's small ass, just like the older 92-96 Preludes. Without a spoiler, it just doesn't look right. :cool:

My story is a saga...always owned coupes...from my '91 Nissan 240SX to my '94 Accord EX to this current '99 Accord EX V-6....always thought the two door profile was much sportier for a young, single guy...but even though I just turned 30, and still have no wife or kids, I am beginning to hate the coupe...the seating position is getting way too low for me, the driving position in general is unsatisfying especially with all these SUV's everyone is in now...I feel like an ant in my two door when trucks surround me...I gotta tell ya, playas, I enjoyed driving my father's 1997 Special Edition Accord sedan much better than this coupe, when my folks still lived with me here in New York...they have since moved to Las Vegas, taking their Honda and Benz with them, but every time I had a road trip to go on, I would always opt for my dad's four door Accord over my coupe; the upright seating position and more comfortable view of the road was more appealing....I am DEFINITELY trading my coupe in for a sedan when I can. The next car will have four doors---and this has NOTHING to do with the fact that Im expecting kids, a wife, etc...I am nowhere near ready for that, but I think a large, spacious sedan is where its at at this point in my life. Just like the room a big sedan has, and the way it makes a coupe look tiny in comparison when you pull up next to it.....

My First car was a Civic Coupe, it was a nice car....

Second was a 94 Supra N/A, slightly modded, but after going to college, i needed something much much more functional.

Then I started bugging my parents to help me buy a big car. I looked at the coupes, and I thought it was a great looking car. Then I looked at the sedan, not as sporty, but has the potential. Since i'm a college kid, i'm going to need a lot of room:D :D and room to move my junk around. So I got the sedan.

If I were to choose again, i would get the sedan no doubt. But overall, my friend has a coupe V6, and I woiuld prefer either one. Because they're both beautiful cars.

Im telling you, Plum, once you start getting older you will appreciate the more upright seating and driving position of a sedan....its only because you are probably young now...sedans have a more mature approach to the driving experience...Im sick of crouching down low in the cowl of the coupe; and dont get me wrong---the Accord coupe doesnt sit as low as "true" sports cars like Corvettes, S2000s, NSXs---you dont feel like you are sitting on the floor, literally, as you do in those cars....and, on the Accord, you can raise the driver seat height with the power control, to make the driving position more raised...but, I keep the position in its lowest spot because I think to myself, what is the point of a 2 door sporty car with wings, kits, red paint, etc, if not to feel low to the ground when driving it, so I keep the driver seat in the lowest position....but trust me....get a bit older and you will see what Im talking about with a sedan's more commanding driving perspective of the road in front of you, and the seat comfort. ;)

Sedan here :D I used to own a wrx coupe and coupes look better dropped with body kits, etc. But I wanted the luxury so I went with the sedan. I love it. Big rims, sweet system wood interior, including the wood steering wheel! And I still have room for 3 sets of golf clubs in my trunk:clap: But either way you go the gen 6 coupes and sedans are the best accords ever made

I think the XLCs are ok...i had JLs and they were clearer but the XLcs deff hit hard, i have gotten them up to 144.3 with a 600 watt amp but then the subs cut out due to the altinator...i was asking for help meaning sign up and give me a vote of 10 :D

talkin about models...my girl the one next to my cars wants to get in the scene we need a model search here on V6P...let see what we can do guys :)

Yeah, it seems sometimes the XLCs hit hard, but sometimes they dont; its weird. Could be my sealed box. 15s in a sealed box sound strange; I think 15s should definitely be ported. I have them powered by a Fosgate Punch 800.2 thats running bridged, supposedly giving each sub around 400 watts to make an 800 watt total output----but there is no way the system is spitting out 800 watts; this amp isn't nearly giving 100 percent efficiency, plus Im using stock alternator, battery, etc; its also handicapped by the fact that Im running an RCA converter from the amp, tapped into my rear deck speakers for signal pickup....

Are you able to hear your XLCs from outside the vehicle? I cant really get any heads to turn from my bass....

DONT CALL ME KID...that said....you dont get any bass cuz your back seat isn't down. I leave mine up and down, but deff get more looks with it down...the waves travel better....even if you have your arm rest down it will help.
i have an aftermarket HU, its a screen with an equilizer and stuff to tune the music depending on what style I'm playin...and plenty of ppl turn their heads...its the way your system is wired up...get a new head unit and you'll be straight....

That makes sense :) . The coupe is usually seen as more of the “sporty car” if the same car comes in both coupe and sedan models. This is probably the reason Honda has only offered the V6 6 speed M/T combo on the 2003 CL-S and 7th gen AV6 coupe. Though Honda/Acura wised up a bit and now offers a V6 6 speed M/T combo on the 2004 TL.

BTW: The Accord LX inline 4 sedan is always the top seller out of all the trims offered in North America.

Now that's what I say the sedan is convenient. I like the long and boxy body of the sedan. I gues because it's much longer which gives this arrow look. I call my car "Silver Arrow." :cool: :D

U should keep in mind that the DX is about 100lbs-200lbs lighter since it's stripped out. More Hp doesn't mean anything. It all depends on car weight ratio. It's kind of like having two more extra people in the car and having 7 more Hp to make up for the lag. 137hp vs 145hp... 7 more hp... won't do much on a car that is 100-200lbs more.

The most most obvious physical appearance when comparing a DX vs LX, EX is the moldings. The DX has all black moldings, like side view mirros, door handles etc.. Even if yu paint all the black moldings to make it look like the LX or EX, then one more thing to look for is the silver trimming around the windows. It will cost a lot to have all the black windows trims converted to silver. That's why mine is still black. haha :D :eek:

The LX and EX Vtec inline 4 auto has a slightly better MPG than the DX auto (23/30 vs. 22/29). And it's 135 HP for the DX and 150 HP for the LX and EX.

im driving a sedan accord v6. mmm im thinkin you got more leg room for taking for friends if you got a sedan. i also light the tail lights of the sedan better than the coupe. if there was a conversion (an easy one like not requiring to remold/shave your trunk) i'd go for a coupe w/sedan tail lights and yes i am that shallow of a driver :) and damn proud of it

Before, I owned nothing but coupes and sports cars; however, Now I own a 2001 V6 sedan, and I am quite impressed with it. I like the luxury/ sport feel of the car. And it is good to have a little more room. :cheers:
