I was deciding on getting a lowering kit for my '03 honda. I was just wondering what is the best height to lower it so it fills the gap between my tires and fender well but it won't bottom out? Oh, and whats the best brand to get? I could really use the feedback. Thanks.

Not to sound like an ass but if you search the forum there are tons of threads on lowering the Accord. I've read over hundreds of posts and have come to the conclusion that Tein products seem to be the best bang for the buck.

I have the Nuespeed Race Springs...here is a pic with stock wheels. (Sorry for the dark pic) Just to give you an idea, what it looks like with the stock wheels.

Nikki,
Your car is dropped with Neuspeed Race?
The height stil seems a lil too high isn't it...
(Neuspeed race used to make all the tires tug in the fender well..)
by the way did the installer cut the bump stop?
I'm still deciding which springs I should use to lower my car...
I want 1 finger gap in front n none in rear... Hmmm...

I went with Ground Controls for maximum control of the drop. I have a Neuspeed Upper Strut bar and Neuspped front and rear sway bars. The ride is fantastic and it steers as if were on rails, no body lean at all.
I have a set of Neuspeed raqce springs new in th box if you want to go that route.

GC's were around 350.00 plus shipping
There are no Koni's for our cars, I will get them the first day they are on the market.
GC's use Eibach springs, the coil overs give you better control than springs with a static height. GC's are adjstable.

Yeah they are a little high still...that was the minute after the install. Plus I think I had EXTRA wheel gap to start with. My front was like 6 inches haha...
My 18s go on 2morrow, so I'm sure it'll look better. Plus my tires are deflated to only like 20 lbs heh...too lazy to fill em up.
The ride is surprisingly not bad...of course more bouncey than stock, but not bad at all, IMO.
I'll have better pics up this weekend.
