Somebody is selling their WRX automatic shift knob (momo?) on eBay and I was wondering if anyone knows if it can be used on the 6th gen auto (Edit: There's also a Subaru Forrester one). I know the WRX has the gated shift, so I'm guessing the shift button (if put on the 6th gen) would always be pressed, but would it fit straight on with no major modification?
Also, I wanted to know if there is a way to actually make a normal shift knob (like from a manual, say) into a push-down type.
Thanks.

I bought one that looks like a Momo. push down design. I ordered a leather shift boot. cute some plastic to make room for shift boot. looks good.

Is the WRX's actually a push-down type?
I think I'll buy it to at least experiment with it. If the price is right, that is.
This knob with a shift boot (I'm deciding leather or CF) will look pretty nice I think.
