Hey everyone i've been reading on this forum for a while and finally decided to join.
i have a question about after market exhaust... sorta...
i just got my headers and havent installed yet, but i was just wondering if it would be bad to install my headers w/o havin an exhaust. was just wondering cuz i dont know when i'll get my exhaust cuz the dang greddy dual evos are like 900 bucks
.. on a side note..anyone know where to get the evos for cheap?

Which Headers did you get? You should be fine without a aftermarket exhaust.

Awesome Comptechs are the best headers for our rides IMHO.

AEM CAI, Comptech Headers.... and as soon as i can scrap up the $ the greddy evos will come yay!
how much do the UR pulleys help? i've also heard of alternator problems with the pulleys? or something? i think it was mostly with the AEM pulleys tho

will the headers make my exhaust louder?
and whats up with this heat wrap stuff or whatever?

NOOOO!!! Do not use heat wrap on your headers. Also have you considered the Axle Backs from Comptech? The UR Pullies will definitely make a difference.

heh i see you're pretty against the heat wrap...
the exhausts i considered were.. apexi WS, greddy evo, and the comptech
i really wish i could hear them all.... i've heard an evo on a prelude and it sounded alright
the most important factors to me in exhaust is 1. sound 2. performance 3. doesnt drag on everything known to man 4. then price

I don't know about the EVOS but the Tanabe Hyper Medallions are pretty sweet along with Comptechs. The Medallions are definitely got a aftermarket look but if you want a more stock looking exhaust then the Comptechs are a good choice.

Get the UR pullies, get Evo, or tanabe hyper med's. UR pullies dont really have an alternator problem, at least not as much as the AEM do. Good luck! And good job on the comptech headers, great product!
