Ok, its been confirmed that a brand new video will be released. Myself, fluxcapcaitor, and doctor X will be working on this production, there might be some other members involved but those are the main 3. V6p needs a good video, so hopefully we can accomplish that goal. So if any of you have any suggestions or comments regarding this, please feel free to post, your help will make this video better. Afterall, it is for the v6p community :)

Yea it will, were gonna start filming in 2 weeks. We were gonna film next week, but its thanksgiving so yea :rolleye2: After that itll take about 2 weeks to do the animation/edit the video, and then release it! :)

pretty impressive setup you've got there....im trying to sell my audigy2 zs and get that new x-fi card...


as for ur computer, i REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY suggest you get another RAPTOR and run it in RAID 0.......it will giv you computer like a 50% boost as far as mutitasking......

raptors are effing cheap rite now...at frys, after rebait, its like 70 bucks for the 36gigabite

i install a full copy of microsoft office with in 30-35 sec......
i FORMAT and INSTALL my windows in less than 15 mins...(5 for formating, 10 for windows install)

I voted for techno, but I don't like it. I think it is just the most fitting for a video like this. But I'm sure some clips of rap here and there would be good(funny) like drop it like it's hot if someone's on airbag's etc etc... Maybe a rock song to build adrenaline if there is a race scene... but I think trance is the best in general... my .02.

EDIT: The Sin City has some cool songs on it that might be nice.

He used windows movie maker. And the difference between trance and techno varies, but usually trance is more instrumental and softer (trance) while techno is more hard. It's kind of hard to explain the difference since there are so many variations of "trance" and "techno" such as euro, progressive, acid, jungle, etc. But they are all in one family. Hope that explains it.

Do simple installation process such as installing CAI and/or a simple DIY project like blackened Headlamp or how to remove the amber strip or how to install the V6p.net aluminum door lock to replace the stock ones etc etc.

Thanks for the tips, but this video isnt gonna be emphasizing on "how to's" or "DIY's" its more of a video to show off of the cars etc. Regarding the music ive already taken that into consideration, the music will be in the background, and when the music needs to be low it will be. For example on scenes where the car is driving or revving its engine. Even though those types of music dont apply to you u should still vote anyways. BTW, wat type of music do u listen to then.....country?

This will be included in the "Part 2" video, this video will only showcase my car, flux's, and doc x's. The reason being is because were tight on time and length of the video. We also want to see how this video works out and if you guys will like it, if it goes out well then a part 2 will be released featuring all of v6p's cars (whoever wants to) like video/pics. Yea, this will be our first attempt I guess to fire off V6p. Since v6p doesnt really have anything to showcase its website and members. Dont get me wrong but I think that v6p is a great website, and im happy to do this vid. Overall this vid will just be like a "introductory showcase" since most of the cars on this site are accords. After this vid hopefully it will inspire even bigger and better vids in the making. I really like your idea though about getting 60-70 members out to do a filming, I just thought to myself that it would really be difficult to do, but we should definitely keep it in mind for the future. V6P needs more videos! :D

Thanks for the tips, but this video isnt gonna be emphasizing on "how to's" or "DIY's" its more of a video to show off of the cars etc. Regarding the music ive already taken that into consideration, the music will be in the background, and when the music needs to be low it will be. For example on scenes where the car is driving or revving its engine. Even though those types of music dont apply to you u should still vote anyways. BTW, wat type of music do u listen to then.....country?

Uhm....maybe u should read some of the first few posts i made, bc this question was answered. But ill say it again, even though many members did some great videos, this time were trying to aim for a more serious/proffessional aspect in terms of making the film. It'll be similar showcasing cars in different areas/scenarios/time of day. But hey, just wait till the vid comes out and youll see for yourself, i dont wanna ruin and spoil the surprise ;)

Did the video shoot for flux last night from about 9 till 2 in the morning, turned out better than expected, we got some really nice shots of his car. Tomorow the rest of the filming will begin, and after that its editing time. So stay tuned for a release date!

We finished the filming today, started at around 12 and ended at 5ish :woot:. Was a lot of fun......lol :laugh: Thanks again to all the ppl that showed up, this filming wouldnt have been possible without you. So now its down to the editing table ;) The video will be released soon, so keep checking back for updates! If you guys have any questions, please feel free to ask :)

Lol, i just actually finished editing one quarter of the vid, its going pretty smoothly for now. Im assuming that youre gonna be the first one to download the video since youve been keeping track with this thread :) :up:

Sorry but no, you cant send vids of ur car, the reason being because it will throw the video off track, everything is already put together in order, so it would be odd to throw in another car from a totally different place. MAYBE next time if you can make it out well shoot another vid, so well see. ;)

Sorry, but we have no tunnels anywhere near the area we were in, i dont even know if SoCal has any tunnels :confused: But youll be satisfied with the rest of the footage ;)

Ok guys, I dont know if this is a problem for u peoples, but as im editing right now the video is longer than i expected, its gonne be around 30min.....lol. So if anyone has any problems with the length of this vid please let me know ASAP. Im halfway done, but lemme assure you that the video is turning out great =) So let me know if u guys would prefer a short vid, or long. Thx v6p!

I was thinking about that....but thats like cutting the original vid in two. So it wouldnt make sense watching a short version since many of the parts are gonne be missing that are in the long version. And I dont wanna edit two different versions, its too much work, im going crazy as is :o

Update: Video is 3/4 done, turns out that the vid will be approximately 22 minutes long, i was able to shave off 8 minutes. So it will be released sometime next week if I am able to find a site to host the video for downloads. Does anyone know good websites that will allow me to upload my video for download? Because most of the ones ive seen only allow certain size, and have a time limit/quantity limit for download.

Hehe, im trying to find the best codec to render the vid, taking into consideration size/quality is a pain in the ass. So please be patient, once the video is uploaded and ready for download, another thread will be made just for it, so stay tuned! Oh.....btw, its looking good so far :D
