Hickam Series TURBO J32a2 95 Civic Hatch build

I went from LS turbo to K24 turbo and now on to a V6 turbo. I will post my progress pics as I get some accomplished. Here is what I have so far. Major goal with car is to have fun. V6 swaps are rarely done and even more rare turbo. I understand v6=torque+FWD=no traction, but we will see how it goes. Using a 67mm turbo with ID1000 injectors.

Everything is a very tight fit when adding the turbo. Onto the pics...

Started fabbing the 3.5" downpipe

Gauge cluster mocked up. Still need to put a nice finish on the aluminum piece

Ran the oil drain line

Made some fuel lines and mounted FPR

Installed the ID1000 AP1 s2k injectors

Took it to Steves Automotive Refinish to get a full color change and engine bay shave.

They were close but I was one of the fortunate ones in the metroplex. There were 12 tornados yesterday!

Don't need this stuff

Body shop got even farther

It's really hard to show the real color with pics, but here is the best I could do with my damn apple phone...

Painter sprayed wheel housings today. Wasn't expecting this at all. He sent me a pic earlier

Finally took some pics with my good camera.

removed the rear drum brakes

Here you can see the sump on the fuel tank and where I mounted the pump and filter

Out with the old

And I took the subframe spacers out so I can get them powdercoated since I forgot them when I got the subframe powder coated

Stainless lines just hanging out waiting for the rear suspension

Cleaned up shifter cable bracket by cutting this extra piece off. Sending it to powdercoat soon

Tore the steering rack apart so I could powdercoat it

Tore transmission apart so I can powdercoat the housing. The internals are huge

Look at the size of that final drive

Reverse has syncro

Shifter mechanism before modifying it for k series shifter

Case ready for powder coat

Moved the shift linkage pin from the hole in the right to the left. This is needed to run 02-06 Rsx shifter on 04-07 tl transmission. This piece is also getting powder coated black.

Also got the front support on so I could mount headlight to make the headlight harness. Also started peeling some of the tape off that my buddy put all over engine bay

Rear 5 lug just about ready. Need to get the right spindle nut and PC the calipers. Got a surprise for the color of these when the time comes.

Rotors

Rear spindles

Shifter mechanism

Subframe spacers

Alternator cap
