Broken Bumper Clips (pics added)

Ever since I got in my accident last year my car has been going to SHYT... Now my front bumper "clips" have broken. The uppermost part of the bumper where it meets the fender... The little "O" ring that you screw in from under the wheelwell... Well the "O" is stripped on both sides and the screws won't hold it anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or do I have to buy a whole new bumper?

I found the bumper clips on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...em=37015549089
It is hard to not to not the damage the clips when you are removing. I end having to replace it when I took my bumper off for my intake and fog install.

I don't know about the "o"ring" you screw in. Trying taking a pic and than I know what you are talikng about.

Sorry for my vague description. Here are a few pics. I have the part that's stripped outlined in red. The other side is a lot worse than this one.

The same thing happen on my fiancee civic when I was installing her intake. I ended up puting a couple of zipties around the area where it is circle in red to the part where it is suppose to screw in. It has held on so far.

It is an easy fix actually.

Take a dremel or any tool and completely cut it out. Then take a metal washer and put it in the exact same place as where the original would be. keep in mind that you should probably use an epoxy to hold it. You can get the epoxy at the Auto parts store. They make one called plastic weld. if I were you, I would super glue the washer into place just to hold it, then use the epoxy over it.

Make sure to to line up the washer even with where the old clip would have been. You should find a washer that isn't too thick, and as thin as that plastic is.
