I was wondering if there is a difference in radio connector between the 06-07 and 03-05? I know there's dual climate and single climate but my main concern is the years. Im planning on doing a retro fit of a double din into the stock radio spot and i have a chance to pick up an 06-07 radio. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I had dual so the swap was simple for me. But I am sure if you have single and talk to Marvin who makes the harness for the swap it should be a simple plug and play. The hard part is running it to the trunk.
should be swappable as long as the trim level matches - dual zone with dual zone climate control, single with single - but there may be a variation on the premium setups that came on 6mt models, as i have seen test fitting the lame autosoul aftermarket head unit that worked fine in my 03 sedan with dual zone climate but did not work in a friends 06 6mt coupe with dual zone.
i put a 03-05 radio in my 07. the only thing that i didn't like about it was that when you turned the fan on, it wouldn't matter what selection was in green, it blew out regardless. LOL
