d4 light not working

my d4 light hasn't worked since waaay before i got the car, i thought the bulb was blown and i changed it, but it still wont light up, now normally i wouldn;t care about a simple dash light but the d4 is part of the tranny diagnostic system (you know how it's supposed to start blinking if something's wrong?) i want it to be working, any ideas?

try changing the bulb, my problem wasnt the bulb but chances are yours is, i can tell you how to change it if you want, also, does anyone know if the indiglo gauges replace the circuit board in the back of the cluster? that's where my problem is and if the inglos replace that part then that should fix the problem

I put indiglo gauges in there and also changed the bulb for a new one whial i had it apart. I would start by checking the nuteral safty switch (its on the shifter) for continuity in all the drive positions. If it still does not I would go and check the TCM its under the carpet on front passenger. I have access to Alldata pro for honda. so if you are un sure I can try n look it up for you

Any questions Im here to help

Also does the D4 light up when you turn on the Key?? it should for a couple of seconds

and if ur cruse control works then the shifter switch should be working too. But if there is no D4 AT ALL then i would start at the TCM.

My 2 cents
