how to change the brake rotors

has anyone changed the brake rotors on their accord. i haven't gotten around to doing mine, i still have the originals that came with the car but i want to go with some cross drilled ones. has anyone done it in their driveway or did all have to go to the shop to get it done. i found a site where they have oem brembo crossdrilled for our cars listed. its, http://www.sportcompactwarehouse.com. thanks for any advice and please list all new parts i should get before doing the job.

okay, well you will need a 17mm socket, I'm not sure what size for the caliper. It was either 10,12, or 14. Probably, also a impact driver to take out the screws that are holding the rotor on to the hub. You will also have to get new pads.

actually, i should have been more clear, after i take out the four bolts on the back of the hub holding it to the knuckle it should pop right out right. if so, after that i just take out the four bolts on teh front and will it just come right off the hub or will i have to pry and beat this thing to hell. also, should i buy new bearings for the hubs. thanks.

well im gonna go for the rotor over hub conversion and i will post everything needed to do the conversion so in the future you wont have to deal with the PITA job of doing our rotors. also, i was reading on hondasociety how to do the conversion but that was written for the 4 cyl 5th gen not v6. we have 25t brackets and everyone else has mostly 23t. im gonna see whats available and what needs to be done and ill get back w/everyone on this. this is gonna be very fun, i can't wait for the challenge.
