help with pricing estimate

I wasn't sure where to put this, and this board seems like the closest place. I was here last year, trying to find out how to fix the 94 accord ex that I, uh acquired in a divorce settlement. I've since decided that I'm just going to sale the car. Here's the hitch, I'm not being able to get a pricing estimate from KBB for it. Its listed in 'poor' condition and they don't give estimates for that. I know of one person who is interested in purchasing it as a project car, and I want to give him a fair price without cheating myself.
I don't know the mileage off hand but can get it later on tonight when I go home. It needs a headgasket, tires, rubber seal around the windsheild, has a few rust spots. The leather seats are cracked open and its been 'sitting' for years now. The 'fair' price on KBB was a little over 3k. I was thinking of asking maybe one thousand but I don't know if that's over shooting or not.
Please advise.

how badly shape is the car? Is the outside still good? Paint job? You should take a picture of it, so we can tell better. $1000 sounds right, but without pics, it may not.

i only have four pics, and they are online at this link -- http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...8AZN2rZw3ZNWJW
i can get more photos by the weekend. its stored at another location b/c my ex is psychotic :-) but this is the best i can do right now.
the mileage is around 97000 - a little more. i've found some documents from when the state gave me the title but I'm not able to go to where the car is stored right now to check the exact number.

97k miles is good for a 94.. the body looks like its taken quite a beating.. I would still say $800 though until you get full car pics. the price would go up a bit if it were a v6 but since its a 4cyl the price is gonna be lower

update -- i have a buyer for the car but he is in the uk, says he's a broker.. anyway
first off that simple fact makes me nervous and i'm not quite sure why.
second - how do i change over a title to someone who isn't here to sign i when it gets notarized.

It beats the hell out of me. You should contact cowgod since he's from Canada. He would probably know more of outside shipping expenses and stuff like that.

I say watch very closely to that person. A broker wanting that car? Sounds very suspicious. A broker wouldn't go for our type of car. Watch out very closely.

don't sell it to a UK person, unless he's willing to do all the paperwork for you.

All you make sure on is the shipment documents, custom documents and waybill documents for the shipped that you are selling the car as parts only and that the car does not run.

He's gonna pay 1000$ for shipment if not more ... seems hard to believe that it's gonna happen.

whatever the case is, good luck and if sales fails, let us know, my mechanic wants a parts car

That's not a bad price there from looking from the front, but it would be good to view it from all around the car and inside.
