well the strut bar is bolted to the frame of the car, so if it bends while it's connected to the frame the frame gets pulled with the bar. also i would absolutely be willing to pay more for peace of mind, especially with suspension parts, going cheap with the stuff that your safty depends on is just askin to get bit in th a**
final verdict has to come from someone who's used one of'em though

i was wanting to get a rear and lower tie bar. they seem to sell for pretty cheap, and i dont think our cars come with one of those stock. so i dont think it would hurt safety. just wondering if its even worth getting

Personally I think none of them will make a difference you could feel during regular street driving, no matter how much you do or don't pay for one. But if I had to choose one it'd be Neuspeed, APR, or Comptech. They all have stronger designs than the traditional bolts and welds on most.

APR Tech - http://www.aprperformance.com/tech_d...chArticleID=22

Comptech (1.9MB download) - http://www.comptechusa.com/store/media/150_070_3d.exe

Neuspeed - Single tube, solid mount design.
