Please help, if your car is lowered

Could you guys post your setup here or email me at [email protected] because i m having alot of thought on my suspension setup

Right now, i m thinking about

Shocks - Koni Red

Springs - Teins H tech or S tech or Eibach pro kit or H&R sport

My main problem is that i want to get H tech height, about 1.4 and 1.1, however i have to wait 2 months for that...

so i m stuck with S tech, pro kit or H&R sport

I think 2 inch drop is too much.. and wondering if anyone would have pictures of their drop and their setup so i can get a clue about how much drop is prefered

Thanks alot

just my opinion.

if you desire a certain height.. why dont you get coilovers?

right now I have ajustable Tenzo type-R coilovers and DropZone Shocks. My car rides very smooth. I can raise and lower 4in. either way on my car anytime i want. Without taking off the suspension. Just by adjusting the perches on my coil sleeves. All I do is jack up one side of the car and put my arm between the wheel and the fender and adjust it lfrom there. I live in Washington and I think its gonna snow this year. So i plan on raisintg my car from the 3in. drop to only 1.5in. because when it snows here i see alot of lowered cars plowing snow instead of moving.

I would have went with Eibach springs since they are very reputable. But I did some browsing around and asked around about how peoples springs worked out for them. I talked to alot of dissappointed people. Most of them switched to TEIN's. Im not bad-mouthing any springs since I use neither. its just my opinion.

I know my accord V6 needs front cambers.. I already did the washer trick for the back.

I wouldnt suggest it since I dont know what might happen but there is a cheaper way to go about this. You can get the No-Name Brand 4cyl. coilovers on ebay for about $40-$60 shipped to Canada. these are how those coilovers look
I was browsing on cardomain.com and found a 95 V6 with those no-namebrand coilovers. he said they ride pretty good. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/530527/1

This is the website where I bought my shocks from.

oh wow... 2 fingers in the front and 3 in the back.. .. that is exactly what i wanted... or that would be the lowest i would go...

Mastadulog.. THanks aLOT!!

4mytoys... how bad is the camber in the front if i lower 1.5 ?

need to prepare alot of miscellanous parts ... =(

the things i need are

Brackets
Bolts
Washer
Springs
Shocks

anything i m missing?

* i heard that coilovers are not that comfortable... thats why i prefer springs.. and i prefer a brand name ...

17mm socket (2.. one for the wratchet to hold the bolt while airgun is un screwing the nut)
14mm socket
12mm socket
jack stands(2)
hydraulic jack.. its faster than the stock jack in the trunk
wratchet
air gun and compressor
Your gonna need an Allen wrench. DO NOT USE THE SUNROOF wrench. It wil just bend. But its the same size.
front cambers

I didnt use a spring compressor. I just let the spring just un-bolted the top bolt on the shock and just let it shoot out. I figured why rent one when Im gonna replace it anyways.

**took me 4 hours to Lower my Whole Car
your gonna need some WD-40 to spray one every nut and bolt coming off so it wont be a pain in the but
remove rear seats so you wont ruin the interior.

dropzone coilovers are trash. whatever you do, dont cheap out on suspension, especially coilovers. like the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
i have apexi coilovers, not sure how low it is but its a finger gap all around.

I dont have DropZone coilovers but I do have DropZone Shocks and my shocks are awesome. I guess Im lucky I didnt get the DZ coilovers. The only reason why I gave ruffyruff is because he said he doesnt have much to spend.
