Wings West on a sedan

Okay I know that the Wings West for the sedan says it only fits the 98-00 sedans on the wings west web site, but can it be modified to fit a 2001? if so, are there any modifications?

wings west never made one for 01-02, you are going to have to switch out ur bumper, other than that, no idea...ive never seen one...the only lip kits you can get are xenon or a full body kit

I have an 02 Sedan and the Wings West Kit. Like everyone else said, you'd have to do a 98-00 front bumper swap.

There's two lips that wings west offers for the front.

The touring style (which is pictured above on Mings car.
and
The W-type which is the more popular one.

If you like the touring style, then you need to swap bumpers from a 98-00 accord.

But if you like the w-type then your in luck, because it will fit on your 01-02 bumper.

Starcrap12(Euston) has a xenon lip on his 01-02 Accord, even though the lip was meant for 98-00 Accords.

So basically, you shouldn't really have any problems.

Najeeb,

are your sure starcrap12 has a "modified" 98-00 xenon front lip? cuz remember, xenon does make a lip for the 01-02 as well.

I like the W type better, so all four pieces will fit my 2001 accord v6 sedan correct?? I'm not going to waste 500 on nothing, right??sorry I just dont' want to order something to find out it doesn't fit.

Starcrap DOES have a 98-00 lip on his car. and Nope, its not modified.

He just got a deal on a 98-00 xenon kit that someone was selling in his color, ...i think.

The thing is, the lower grille area is shorter on the 98-00 bumpers, and the grille on the 01-02's is longer. So any lip that was meant for the 98-00 bumpers will fit the 01-02's, but there will be space on either side. But since you have black (vanydotK), you'll have no problem, cuz no1 will notice it.

But viceversa, a lip for a 01-02 bumper, WONT fit a 98-00 bumper, because the part of the lip that inserts into the grille, will be too long, for the shorter opening in the 98-00 bumpers.

Here's a pic of Eustons front lip, notice how there IS space on either side of the lip.

And here you can see on my car, that the insert on the lip goes all the way to the edges.

So basically you wont have any problem, especialy since your car is black.

I'm not positive if they will interfere or not. I dont think they should. But even if they do, a dremel would fix that, you'd just have to trim the insert on the lip a little. But i dont think u'll really have a problem.

i doubt it because if you take a closer look at starcrap12's bumper, it avoids those black notches at the end of the gap on each side in the bumper. and from the looks in ur sig, that's where ur fogs are mounted so you should be okay.
