New battery question.......

The little green light has disappeared on my stock 2K Accord battery, so now its time for a replacement.

Ive chosen the battery, but have a question about the terminals: if the battery is setup to use either side or top terminals, can you actually put a post in the side terminal and use it to connect the audio stuff to, while using the top post for the car wiring?

It makes sense to me that you can, but I figured Id ask first (ive never seen it done this way, but I dont want to chop the original connector off my car wiring, so if I can separate everything that'd be cool. If not, I can just use everything attached to one post).

Thanks!!!

I was going to go Optima, but I got an EverStart Maxx from Wally World for 60 bux.

If stock lasted me 3 years with my system, the EverStart should last 6

But thanks for answering, Im going to get a post terminal tomorrow........Ill love having the stereo wiring separate from the car wiring, looks better and I feel more comfortable having them separate when the dealer looks under the hood.
