Ok heres the thing about the kit...its made by decah 95-97 accords...they never made one for the 98 -02 accords...but you can get one modified for 1900.00 which 600 dollars more than one that isnt modified... the modified version has bigger holes (only two)... i thought it was ridiculous to pay 600.00 more for 2 larger holes...so when i first got the kit all the holes were a direct bolt except for the two so i bascially took a larger drill bit and drilled holes throught them and made them bigger...thats all the modification...umm as for the sticking out thing...when the kit bolts up to the door...i was supposed to put the kit more toward the door instead i didnt...but if i did (which i am gonna do) it would be flush with the body...its really easy to do...may be a 6 hr job on the first door... and then a 2 hr job the second door...plus you need the help of a friend to hold the door.. since its heavy as hell.

thanks for the comments

since our doors are really heavy, do those hydros make it easy to lift up? like the back of a minivan? or do you actually have to push it up all the way?

you have to lift it up...its not heavy i had my sister do it (shes 14) and she lifted it..without a problem i wish they had mad the shocks a lil more stronger to where you can just tap it and it will go up alone...
