Evo rims

I was looking at these rims and thought they would look pretty nice. But, looking at the offset, I'd think twice.

I'm not exactly sure what's better? a lower offset or higher? I looked through a few threads, and nobody has really explained it.

I currently have konig verdicts (black opal) that are 18x7.5 with a +45 offset. I find them to look very nice, but they are a tad wide in the front. This is mostly because of the tires I chose (kumo).

But if somebody wouldn't mind, could they explain what I should be looking for in terms of offset and the x7.5? x8? part.

Also, I have a v6 2001 coupe.

Thanks.

+38 offset will rub like a b!tch! especially with 8" wide rims

i think the lowest offset you should consider is +42 with 7.5" wide rim more with wider rims

it also depends on how much your car is lower than stock
with a 1.5" - 2" drop the numbers above should be good to follow, increase offsets if your dropped lower or if you get wider rims

Is that a good quality rim? Never heard of them, they look good and are decently priced.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks
