sunroof slide

ok i don't know how the title should be...anyways, is it possible to make our sunroof slide out like the preludes and rsx's? the sunroof is too small when it's opened and there's like 1/3 of the glass still popped out. it might look sportier too.

Interesting...

Well I know which type your talking about. The tracks are different on that type of sunroof/moonroof. And would take a good amount of custom work to modify the ones on our car to do that. That or you could replace the OEM one with an aftermarket that will fit the opening in the roof (most should).

But IMO, the one we have has a cleaner look to it when slanted .

i guess you guys are right...just don't like how small the opening is. the 5th gen accord's roof slides back more and is a lil bigger than ours.

yeah, we need to figure out if there is more clearance when slid back so it can slide back further

in my friend's 5th gen i can fit my head out there w/ no problem and stand up but in our cars i have to turn my head to the side and slowly get up cuz it's so smaller

is there a way we can get new tracks for the roof and have them slide back farther?

LOL that's funny...so that's the reason why you want to do this? why would you want to stick you head out of the sunroof anyways? aren't you usually the one driving? i mean i had someone in my BACK seat come up and stick their head out of the sunroof to yell something out and there was no problem at all
