opinion on RH C5 knock off

Hey guys,

I'm in need of new tires and i went to costco looking to replace the sucky stock michelin's and they came out to be 144 a tire, but that including mounting, balancing, and all that good stuff except the disposal fee and CA fee of like 1 dollar each. With tax it was almost 600 range and i'm like **** for that price, i may as well get some rims with that.

I've been asking friends that can get hook rims and all, but i was wondering my fellow V6'er opinions on these Racing Hart C5 knock offs.

I still have to ask them a few questions, but here's what i remember

price with kumho 711 tires
*Exel RH-5
*750 silver, white, and gunmetal
*800 for hypersilver
Price includes mounting and balancing and shipping and lugnuts for
*each wheel weighs 20lb's
*recommended size is 215/45/17

those are the same ones I am looking into getting for my 7th gen. I really like them and I have a red coupe and I'm thinking about getting the gunmetal or hypersilver. And I found the same thing you did if I'm going to pay 800 for my new tires I can spend 899 and get a set of wheels and tires from them so i would go for it. I have several friends with Excel wheels and haven't heard them complain

i like the gunmetal one...

but i've always been a fan of the C5 style. Had a set for my civic a while back...

Def get them in 18s or 19s... they tend to look better as they're larger

17's are too small, go for 18s, I wish i did
especially when the rim has a lip it makes it look even smaller

well i started this thread ....in '03 don't know why so many responses now vs. when i wanted the help of others opinions back then.

anyway, i ended up getting 17 inch ADR Forumla 5's with falken ziex 512 tires. i think i ended up paying around 500 for everything. It's okay for daily driving but i would definately love to upgrade to 18's or 19's to show. =)
