I dont know what exactly is the Installation kit but im guessing its the lug nuts. Your better off getting the kit because not all lug nuts are the same, it all depends on the rim.

im not sure i understand you.
do you mean the lugs, cause some aftermarket wheels require special lugs, maybe thats what the kit is?

ya its the lug nuts, heres the description from the website

Everything you need to safely secure the wheels and tires to your vehicle is included in this handy kit. With the purchase of one to four wheels, a wheel installation kit will provide a full set of lug nuts or bolts depending on the requirements of your vehicle. With the purchase of four wheels and tires, the wheel installation kit comes complete with a set of locking lugs as well.

I purchased from Discount tire before.

They include

Lug Nuts that are properly seated for your rims
Locking Lug Nuts w/ Key
And Centering Rings (this is a must)

get the kit, you will be happy you did

Hey Abe, what exactly does this centering Ring(s) do?

Savayshyn, if wheels are properly balanced they should be good for any speed, tho it would be pointless to try to get them balanced much beyond the actually speed rating of the tire.

The guy told me if I didnt have the centering rings (aka eccentric rings), they MIGHT vibrate on highway speeds. All it is just a plastic circle :P

i had 18s and my car would vibrate all the time, never knew anything about the center rings. I got my car balanced atleast 4 times from 4 different places, and it never made a difference the car had a vibration past 60 all the time. Finally i went back to another discount tire store and they told me about these center rings. cost me $15 to buy them and get them installed and everything is fine now. No vibration whatsoever.
