Callin all experts

I am thinking of going with soundstream amps RUB600-4 (80X4) and the RUB1000-2 (200x2). Does anyone have any horror stories they let me in on or are they have way decent. I know there older stuff was good real good back in the mid 90's. Any input would be helpfull. Thankx alot.

 Soundstream rubicon and the reference were wonderful amps back in the day. If you can find some lanzar optidrives or older clarions(zapco internal boards) as well.. those are of equal quality. Only thing I remember of the soundstreams is of finicky channel issues... the 4 & 5 channel models had some issues with one or two channels going dead or flickering between on and off... upon further investigation.. solder flecks were grounding out with components on the PCB board.. easy fix though..

other than that.. solid solid amps that do their power output and then some.
