climate control question

So, i'm putting blue LEDs in my car. I started soldering the climate control LEDs in tonight, but i think i screwed it up. I ruined the circuit board.

So, I need a new climate control unit. I have a manual one, and I noticed the auto climate control units cost the same amount. Can i buy one of those instead of the manual ones, and plug it in, or is there anything complicated to do and I shouldn't bother?

Thanks. I'll post up pictures of the blue LEDs when i'm done. It looks good.

LoL...

I had this problem a long time ago but with my civic. My 98 had the manual climate control and I wanted to swap it out for the auto one. Turned out that I couldn't do it because the climate controls were tied in with the cpu of the car so it wouldn't have worked properly. I assume the same would hold true with the accord. Sorry man but it seems you are going to have to get another manual one.

man i like the manual controls better. the auto ones make the dashboard too complicated. i'm not interested in wiring up new stuff.

anyone want to buy a automatic climate control?
