bye bye chrome trim

I finally got around to blacking out my chrome trim after wanting to do so for over a year. lol. I also made eyelids out of the extra vinyl I had. Here are just a few pics. C&C welcome.

Did you also wrap that pillar area of the door? It's hard to tell from the pics. It looks nice though, good job...

Looks excellent..did you use the blackout tape or just spray it with Trim Black? Some OEM fogs would be excellent! IMO

i was going to do this, but with paint.

Did you take the trim off, or do it while it was on the car?

You can do it while it's still on the car.

Chris do it now!

I would recommend painting it if you are going to do this. I did it with the vinyl tape and its been about 8 months and it starting to crack and peel in certain areas.

Well worth it tho, I never liked the chrome trim on accords!

I hate carbonfiber now. Really hate it.

Maybe later this week I'll paint it, i just thought I should pull the trim off the car so I dont get any over spray.

no, i kept the trim on. I considered painting it but IMO the vinyl method was really easy. It only took me 45 mins to measure, cut and apply the tape.
