Need to get a nice chrome overflow tank or something..

Run down so far:

UPDATE: 4/29:: Engine bay Clean-up.
Simple Green, Shop rag, water hose,nylon brush **WARNING:SIMPLE GREEN IS VERY STRONG,Paint will come off it not mixed with water! ha**

Degrease, steam-clean, and/or pressure-wash that bay! Looks as filthy as Chiefy's...

Did you think of leaving it flat black, or was it not good enough? A flat black engine bay sounds nice, I just can't picture it for our cars.

ah i new i should have taking pics of that stage..damn it..ha

IMO,the flat black looked like primer or something not done? Only way I would have kept flat black is if i had alot of polished/chrome pieces in my bay to really make them pop.

and also like i said,I only did it for show. and that im proud to say I took home top 20.

day time pics:

Did you make sure to install a breather tube for the battery box? And is the box sealed?

No, the box has vents on it,and open on the sides for the cables to come through.

You do know that the battery fumes will now enter the passenger cabin, right?

the silver box is the distribution block,one side has the fuse box line,and the alt. and the other is the 2gauge wire going to the battery.

About the battery relocation, does it matter which side it's on?
