ARC Magic winglets

I'm interested in spicing up my exterior a little more. I'm saving up for new wheels with more aggressive offset and also just got retrofits in, will be buying fogs soon and possibly a Mugen fuel cap (if that fits over the Accord gas cap?).

One thing I'm also considering is the ARC Magic winglets that are supposedly "soooo JDM." I actually dig the winglets a lot, like the ones on Neel's 7th gen. Here's some pics of what I mean:

Problem is I've rarely seen them on Accords. I know they run $200, but that's not too bad really imo for the look. Do you know if DC2 or EK9 would fit an Accord with a mugen lip? That's my main question. Thanks.

Oh, and do they all stick out a lot in the front? Or could I fit them more flush against my mugen lip?

??

I've never seen a pair mounted on a 6th gen.

I think you could mount those up so they sit flush with a lip. I'm guessing you could mount em up to the front lip flush if you have enough surface area underneath.

I would say upgrade your lip to a poly unit first before you add winglets. Adding those to a ABS plastic lip is asking for trouble IMO.

^^naw i aint tryna call u out or anything. they had some ****ty knock off versions anyways. i think it really depends on the cars bodystyle. 7th gens look good with em but idk about a 6th gen coupe. Guess well all have to see it cause i dont think anyone has really done it yet

When i first saw type r grills i thought they looked nasty. But three years later guess who is rocking a type r grill? hahaha

I don't like them, especially for the cost, and the tacky looking sticker ( WAAAY to big)

I think you would be better of spending money on something else

They are around $300 or more shipped depending on where you get them.

But for a 6th gen you would be gambling on which DC2 or EK9 fitment will fit your car.

i've wanted to try 'em because i think it'll flow of my bodystyle, but i was thinking the same thing. it's not cheap, and i could spend it on other better things.

You do know you can make these out of 1/4" thick ABS plastic and a plastic bender, right?

I'm with Shenaniganz on the sticker.

A product that occupies such a small space on the exterior of the vehicle shouldn't have a huge sticker to draw your eye to it...it kinda makes the styling seem a bit choppy.

I do think these would look good on a 6th gen though...our cars have pronounced, fairly-straight, body lines that would tie these in quite well.

But for the cost of a new front bumper, "the price is wrong beotch."

I say go for it! I think it would also look good on wings west kits for sedans also.

I pondered about this for awhile and the only reason why I didn't buy them is because I don't like how the flat part sticks out in the front. It wouldn't look good on an oem lip anyway lol Its too round.
