Honda Emblems

Hey guys,

On the weekend I removed all my rear lettering and emblems. You can't wear this **** like a t-shirt maaaan, it's in you not on you.

I figure why should I advertise? I hate it when I'm on the highway and I see the cars that say "Toyota Corrola Type S Limited Edition etc. etc. etc." and then they have dealer frames on their plates. You don't see Ferrari's with all that junk on the back. Even Audi's and BMW's have just a couple letters and the emblem.

Anyway, pretty easy job. Got my heat gun and heated them up and then cut them off with a piece of dental floss. Then I just removed the excess adhesive.

I didn't realize there's two holes behind the H - gotta get that filled in and painted!

Anyone know how to take off the front emblem? I know there's 2 push screws but I'm not sure how to take it off. I want to paint it and put it back.

My stock coupe front H has 2 screws.

And also there ARE higher end cars with dealer plates and such.

Not as bad as the dealer putting their decal onto your car.

Do you have a coupe or sedan? The sedan front emblem requires that you remove the block that it's connected to. The block is attached to the bumper by 2 screws on the underside. Then you can pull the emblem out like you did the one on the trunk.

I'm assuming I have to sand, prime, and then paint. Does anyone know what the best paint is to use?

I took my rear emblem off and filled up the holes, professionally painted the trunk. It looks dope. If you got the coin then do it. Everyone knows it's a honda, why advertise?
