That 3rd button

My sedan is fully loaded apparently but next to the cruise control buttons under the left air vent there's an empty space for a third button. Anyone know what that space is for?

Yea 3 buttons are supposed to be: fog light switch, cruise control, sunroof.

Even the "fully loaded" ones didn't come with the fog lights. They're an "optional accessory".

I always thought it would be kinda cool to wire up a nos solenoid using the

vol controls on the steering wheel. They are useless as the system on my

98 was outdated years ago, and I had buy an aftermarket.

Yeah I have Cruise control on my steering wheel.

I have a sunroof button, fogs and a blank area, for the 01-02 that spot is for the traction control

If I ever do get fogs, factory or not, that's definitely where the switch will be.

Do you know if the 98-99's have TC?

Is it there w/o the option of turning it off, or is it nonexistent?

98-00 had no traction control system.

There is a cruise control "set" button on your steering wheel, but that's to set the cruise at the current speed. The button next to the sunroof button is to turn on the cruise control system before you can "set" it.

My bad, we have all 3 buttons there, fog, cruise and sun roof button. The 01 - 02 have the cruise control button + traction control. I meant to say we can control the CC from the steering wheel >.<
