04 TSX headlights - Tell me if I'm getting a deal

Alright so a local guy is selling a mint set of 04 TSX headlights (entire assembly minus the harnesses, but comes with D2S bulbs) for $200CDN OBO. This is an awesome deal right? I already PM'ed him and made an offer but it's still a steal at $200 right?

He posted the ad literally about 5 mins ago haha.

I think you can find TSX projectors for cheaper than that. Those bulbs go for about $55-$65...and I think you can get the projectors for less than $100. That's USD. Google told me $200CDN is about $187USD? So that's what I'm basing this on.

Get a used set of retrofits and save yourself all the hassle. Got my used retrofits without bulbs/ballasts for $250, then paid $100 for ballasts and $250 for bulbs (special Philips bulbs hehe)

I picked them up for $160 CDN, which is just under $150 US. The set is in good condition, some hazing on one of the headlight lenses, but the projectors and bulbs are minty. I'm pretty happy, especially considering I didn't have to go through the hassles of getting something shipped over from the US lol. Now to find a good set of OEM stanleys to hack up..

Lol, I tried to do that but it didn't go so well, such is life. This'll be my winter project.. that is, if I can find some headlights to retrofit these into.

$150USD is better

Well you're not really concerned with the headlights themselves since you're only going to be using the projectors anyway. GL with finding a good set of OEM headlights...I couldn't find any and I had to settle for some Depo blackhoused. I like 'em.

If I can't find any OEMs in a month, I'll order the Depo blackhoused headlights. I wonder if I can make some money back by selling the TSX housings..
