Leather seats in a non-leather accord?

hey guys I have I have an 1998 ex coupe that doesn't have leather in it. There is a guy locally who flipped his 02 and is willing to sell me his leather heated seats for 200. Good deal? What do I need to make them work? Anyone done this before?

If yours is not already wired for Power Seats, I don't think it's going to work. Lots and lots of work to possibly make it work, possibly.

However, I would still pick them up and just convert the Power Seat to manual....I did it on my 01 Coupe 5 years ago and it still works great.

$200? depends on what shape they are in. I would try for $150.

How would I convert to manual? Switch the rails?

... Agh you so beat me to it, +1. You gotta pretty much skin you seat and redo it with leather, it's a big pain in the a$$ but worth it, you only would have to do the driver seat since it's the only power one. Id say that price is really fair, I got my 7th gen seats for $450 , try and get him to include the door trims and armrest as well in that price

Wow i'm more interested in how he flipped his accord? and i don't think Wheeelman was suggesting reskinning your seats. he said convert a power seat to manual..probably meaning taking the leather seat panels and bolting them to the rails/bottom parts of the manual seat, or something alone those lines. if he was implying reupholstery, i think he would have said that.

200 is a good price tho. assuming they arent ripped or stained.

I looked into the heated seat switch...it's more complicated than just wiring the switch to + and -. It requires a few extra relays and whatnot as well...but I think I'm going to try it sometime down the line. Having power seats to begin with will help with the wiring, but I'm not sure about doing it all from scratch with a car that's not wired for power seats.
