HID Projector Headlights

Ok before anyone bashes me, I know these are cheap ebay headlights, I don't expect them to be perfect, I just needed a cheap set of headlights to put on my car to last a year before I sell the car.
The question I have is i'm trying to figure out what all the adjustment screws are for, I know they adjust left/right and up/down but I'm trying to figure out why there are 3 on the low beam (shown in the picture as 1,2,3) and 1 on the high beam (I don't think 4 is a set screw, it shows up in that picture but it isn't on my headlight housing, 5 is the only screw on the high beam, and all it seems to do is slowly move the high beam left or right, not up/down which I am trying to do since the high beams light up more of the sky and not the actual road.
My other question is that the driver side low beam is significantly more dim than the passenger side. The passenger side is almost as bright as my fiancee's new HID's in her 2010 camaro. Do you think that the digital ballast is bad or is it the bulb that is bad?

like you said cheap ebay headlights.

they aren't made for HIDS and your HID kit are more then likely low quality too.

It can be the combination of all 3 factors that effect your lights. You can swamp and text the light to the oppsite side to rule out a bad bulb or ballast.

As for aiming, keep messing with it. Cuz I don't know

What ^ he said. Switch the bulb sides and that should tell you which is not working properly.

Also when aiming the projectors do I want the each lights output to overlap? look at this link on page 5, is this what I want it to look like where the cutoff for each light is still separated?

One of my low beams was dimmer because it came with a cracked projector.

How could you tell that it was cracked? I looked at mine and they both look fine. How do you aim these lights? Is it the same as the way I posted?

If anyone can see in the picture, H1 is embossed on the outside of the headlight housing in front of the high beam and H3 is embossed right in front of the projector housing (low beam) are these the bulbs that should be in here? I'm thinking of purchasing higher quality ballasts and bulbs so that's why I'm asking.

Also screw 1 and 3 both adjust up/down on the projector, does anyone know why they would both adjust the same thing? Like I can turn 1 to where at 25' away the light does not even project on the wall and then I can turn 3 the other way and it will bring the light back up on the wall.

accordv6nos, you just have to play with them, there is no literature for the product

If the projector lens is cracked, you will be able to tell. It can be hard to see, but it's similar to looking straight down onto a cracked windshield...move around.

I got the high beams taken care of but the drive side low beam is still a lot dimmer than the passenger and also the cut off is at an upward angle and not
_
_/ <----- like the passenger side. I contacted the seller and they are going to send me a new ballast and bulb to see if that will do the trick. I also checked DDM tunings website and might buy the 55w HID sets, but I don't know if these projectors can take the extra heat.
