I think it has a questionable look on a new car but on an older car it would look like junk.

hmmm...You know, if you could apply a certain chemical to the metal to dictate the color of the rust and/or discoloration that would be cool.

...but based on the pic you posted, I don't like that rust color.

Why not let some graffiti artists go wild with it instead?

My friend has a completely tagged old truck and it looks DOPE.

Just the hood on the Accord would look awesome.

The rust trend is stupid.

There is much that can happen when you pair spray-paint and stoners.

Not on your car no... But that's not to say it couldn't work on a 6th gen.

All the graff you posted is booty I'd never be caught dead with that on my hood.

And I dookie on your above statement. REAL urban artists have amazing talent that can hardly be chalked up to "spray-paint and stoners."

na, wouldn't work on your car. Your car looks like it needs everything black. The rust would stand out way too much.

I'm not into those..

Thats fine and dandy, but emotions regarding graffiti in a city 2000 miles away mean nothing to me.

local guy just had this done not too long ago, looks cool on his car, but not sure an accord would look right.

looks better with his new flares imo

the rusted hood thing has come and went, i think the graffiti or random pic/design will replace the rust fad for 2010

alright hard-ass, let me get this straight

By your logic:

People that do not know about politically motivated art in Los Angeles have no business talking about similar art,

or the people that create it, within their own town.

Fuking brilliant.

first of all rusted hood on your car would just look like you got a hood at a junk yard...2nd its a stupid trend that makes your car look like sh*t. 3rd. why do you really want a rusted hood on a perfectly good looking car? honestly why do u want to have a rusted hood?

I like the look of it and not everyone has to like a certain trend cuz if everyone like the same "trend" then everything would look the same. i have never seen a "nice" car with a rusty hood and i think it would be unique. some people will like it some will hate it. thanks for your guys opinions and dose anyone have a hood laying around so i can get the corrosion started!
