NO 56k . Black Carpet

In 6th Gens this tends to get sticky and mess, so I took it out, scrubbed it with AJAX and primer-ed it.

New carpet, pre-molded ONLY

Painted Flat Black

Cut

Cut

E-brake tap for DRL

FIN

And don't hate in my FUGEN floor mats. They are the only ones that matched the carpet.

+1, I'm going to be doing the same thing...I was going to go through ACCMats. I would have recommended sound deadening the floor before reinstalling the new carpet though.

looks good, did the same thing, got the ultra plush from them. Cost a bit extra but well worth it. I also got mine from ACC Mats. Not too tricky, just time consuming thats all. Great investment.

The one question i have for you is where did you find the floor mats from?
I've tried TAS but theirs didn't match so i sent 'em back, you get it from ACCMats also? i'm thinking thats what i need to do too.

I took mine a step further, doing full interior makeover....

Looks great though!

No my SRS light did not come on from replacing the carpet, it came on from other things, but not the carpet, did you knock something loose, or fiddle with the steering wheel/column?

I would just try clearing it maybe that will solve it?

Those floor mats... how well do they match?
Also, does that mugen emblem come off easy? Does it leave some holes that are fairly noticable if you do remove it?

I just need some matching black plain floor mats, that's why i'm asking....

Carpet looks fresh! Are you planning on doing the entire interior black?
Can you explain what the e-brake tap for the DRL is about?

I dunno, the SRS prolly sensed some missing belts lol, they they come out, as for holes Im not sure. Contact that guy on ebay, Front fitment is pretty good, rear is smaller but ok. they got dimensions on that ebay link.

Thanks, I wanna do it all black but I dunno gotta see.

Cars that come with DRLs, then the ebrake is pulled the DRL turns off.

So like if I'm in the drive movie and I wanna leave my car on, Instead of the DRL being on the whole time when the engine is running, I can pull the ebrake and turn it off.

looks great!! and its a lot cheaper than what I thought it would be. This is a must for anyone planning to sell their car IMO you will more than make your money back.

But nice job looks much better than OEM and dark carpet will stay looking nicer too.

I have always wondered how a stock tan interior would look with black carpets after the seeing the new 8th gens with it. You did a good job, it looks great.
