ever thought about modding the 6gen coupe front end to mach the back (like a charger)

ive always liked the back part of the 6th gen coupe. i always thought it was "asian muscle". I just wish that the front end would have been more square like a dodge charger or the new camaro. You know how thay have a rectangular frame that has the headlights depressed in them.... Square face but round lights...

i wish I were a body man with a lot of time and extra cash...

IMO it wouldn't look right...The 6th gen accord's styling cues ( the rear in particular) were borrowed from the Acura NSX which was an aerodynamic race car, and while I agree that the style looks aggressive it does not look retro American muscle aggressive. This is still the best looking Accord coupe Honda has made to date imo. So good in fact that there are not a lot of body mods that can really improve the look other than maybe a mild lip kit and a drop. Again thats my opinion of the 6th gen AV6.

7th gen coupe ftw. Gotta love the aerodynamic and sleek styling! 6th gen looks good when it's modded right. 8th gens looks very un-sporty.

8th gen looks like a ridgeline

7th gen reminds me of Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer

I'm not really a fan on how round most cars have gotten, I really like the sharp edges of 1990's sports cars ( I would have gone with the prelude but man i hate those headlights)

The only two "round" sports car I really are the FD Rx-7 and the MR2 Turbo

just my personal tastes, everyone is entitled to them

If body lines that don't make sense and having a hood thats too short is your thing then more power to you.

As for the 7th gen, its #2 in styling in my book. The 6th gen takes #1 in the styling department.

But its all a matter of personal taste so to each their own.

well i just wish the front wasn't so different front the rear. The rear is more squared off while the front is too edgeless... in my opinion you could cut the damn car in half and anyone who has never seen this car might think they didnt belong together.

i still think it looks retro american like pontiacs in the 80's, however it oviously is inspired by the nsx. I just wish they had designed the front to be as special as the rear and not just defaulted to a generic honda front end...

What are you rambling on about

Maybe except for the 97-01 preludes, the 6th gen coupes are some of the most angular cars you are going to find.

They never released the drag coefficient for the 6th gen cars but pretty sure its around the same as the 5th gen prelude (.33 ish) which is lower than the challenger you posted ( .35 ish)

( I always seem to quote Doctor X's car haha)

Summed up perfectly. 90's ftw! IMO, the 6th Gen coupe still looks the best out of all of the generations so far. As previously stated, a simple mod such as a lip-kit works so well on it. I envy you coupe owners. Not digging the Challenger at all though. Out of the pony cars, I feel the Camaro looks the best.

Its only angular in this pic but look at all the other pics like the red one above. The front may have an angle but its still not as drastic as the rear end.

I think the lights in the grey makes it look like it has sharper features but the red one looks too ordinary because of the stock lights.

I have to ask but are you even reading what others have posted ?
As mentioned by 2-3 people, adding a simple lip kit = small difference that really cleans up our cars front end

the only thing "round" on our cars is the lower part of the front end, which is why a lot of us want lip kits.

The pictures you have posted of the rear end have all have a lip kit, while all the pictures you posted of the front end are lip-less. You are making an apples to orange comparison, which doesn't really make for a strong argument

peace

even without the lip kit the upper part of the rear end still looks drastically more angular than the front end. I know the rear ends I posted have the lip kits but the kits are not what makes them angular to me. Its the upper part. Thanks though.

I almost purchased a 2010 Accord V6 6speed coupe, I drove it loved the power, traction control light came on going into third gear at 120kmh. But i like the looks of my 2001 coupe better, the car is still perfect, and its just lighter feeling and sporty i think. The taillights are my fav part of the car, and all i really wanted from the new one was the 6 speed, so i'm doing the swap. got richies harness now and waiting for the tranny to show up next week. cant wait! and i wont have that ugly monthly payment......

i think honda hit it spot-on with the sixth gen coupe. many of its styling and aero components were derived from the nsx which is obvious in the tail lights. the front if very aerodynamic-looking while the back gives it a sporty and aggressive look. the sides are simple yet smooth and i think its the best looking accord (stock) that hondas ever come up with. i dont think modding the front end would do it much justice. maybe get a nice lip, though
